Position Summary
The Paint Line Operator position operates and tends machines to paint springs according to the customer’s specifications. You will start out operating the paint line with supervision, can then be promoted to operating alone, and eventually can become Set-Up Certified on that machine.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee can be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking and bending all day. The employee must continuously lift and/or move items up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week.
Desired Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math
